Positive experience: Quite a nice cove in San Sebastian. You can see the city's iconic statue from here. There is also a church not far from the beach that is worth a visit. A note to those planning to take a walk: the stroll ends at this beach. You cannot continue further due to landslides.
Fantastic experience: Preciosa.
Fantastic experience: Went here for sunset on a Monday. It wasn’t slammed but somewhat packed. Had plenty of areas to park up against for the amazing views. It is the smaller of the two beaches and tends to get less crowded. Very peaceful!

Negative experience: The dogs are leashed. Yes.
Positive experience: Playa suculenta.
Fantastic experience: Very pretty beach a bit more calm than the bigger beach on the other side of the mountain. Plenary of space for dogs and kids to run around safely. Very clean and wonderful views.

Fantastic experience: Great beach with sand vball and surfing
Positive experience: This beach is a true gem located in a setting of great beauty. Although it is not particularly extensive compared to other beaches, its charm is undeniable and it ranks first in my preference among the three that San Sebastián offers. What makes this beach special is its welcoming atmosphere and picturesque surroundings. The combination of the soft sand, the crystal-clear sea water, and the mountains that surround it creates an impressive backdrop. However, what truly sets it apart is the celebration of the night of San Juan. On this occasion, young people gather to light bonfires on the beach, creating a magical and festive atmosphere. The beach comes alive with the glow of the flames, music, and the joy of the people, making it an exceptional place to celebrate this festivity. In summary, this beach is not only a beautiful place but also has a unique personality that makes it stand out among the others in San Sebastián. A true treasure for those seeking a special experience on the coast.
Positive experience: Very nice sandy beach, mainly for surfers. It has waves all year round, but there are also quite strong currents that can be dangerous, especially outside the lifeguard season. There are no rocks. Overall, it is a very clean beach, except when there is a storm that collects all the garbage and tree debris that falls into the river.
Positive experience: The sand was quite clean and there are trash cans to keep it that way, although there are people who insist on making it not so...it's a shame
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach right by the city. The sands are soft and is raked each day. It slopes gently to the water and there are nice sections where it’s quite shallow that kiddies can play in. Was there early September and the water was still warm.

Fantastic experience: This is the beach to go to! It does get crowded at times but it’s great. The neighbourhood Gros has a lot of new and diverse restaurants and fun unique local shops
Fantastic experience: This was probably the nicest place I've ever surfed, I've never experienced sweating my wetsuit while catching the waves. I could not believe how warm the water was, and the waves only made it better. It's a beautiful beach and very well kept, with a great atmosphere and plenty of facilities around. Whether you want to come and catch the surf or just sit at one of the coastal restaurants, this beach is a must.
Fantastic experience: Playa amplia, limpia, animada, sin aglomeraciones. Los surfers la hacen peculiar. Tienes bar, chiringuito, aparcamiento y muchos restaurantes cerca para comer. Personalmente creo que es preciosa!

Negative experience: It's a beautiful beach, but I didn't like that the lifeguards limited the swimming area to a third of the beach; people were crowded in the water and the rest of the beach was for surfers, I found it dangerous.

Negative experience: Beautiful beach. Although the lifeguards on the day we went didn't allow us to get in more than 10 centimeters, so it's hard to enjoy.
Fantastic experience: Loved this beach better than Concha beach. Less busy and the water is better plus there is lifeguards there to keep an eye on the surfers.
Positive experience: Amazing beach on the right side of San Sebastián Clean with lifeguard on duty Many surfers due to amazing waves Some nude man on the left side of the beach Topless all over

Fantastic experience: Very fun if you like waves. Great for surfing.
Fantastic experience: This is the beach to go to! It does get crowded at times but it’s great. The neighbourhood Gros has a lot of new and diverse restaurants and fun unique local shops

Fantastic experience: Zurriola Beach, located in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastián, is known for its youthful atmosphere and strong waves, making it a popular destination. We will return :)
Fantastic experience: A perfect spot to enjoy and unwind
Fantastic experience: The best beach to watch surfers.
Fantastic experience: It’s a beautiful beach at the end of San Sebastián. There’s plenty of space for a large crowd, and it’s great to watch the surfers there!
Fantastic experience: Good beach in an unbeatable environment
Positive experience: Beautiful beach with nice waves. A lot of sports activities are done on this beach. The waves make it not really nice for swimming; for that, you might want to go to the other beach. Otherwise, you can walk fantastic along the promenade. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the sun and the sea breeze.
Fantastic experience: Beach on the right side of the river that runs through San Sebastian. Frequented by many local surfers and surrounded by the beautiful buildings of the city.
Fantastic experience: On a picturesque beach with developed infrastructure, you can find clean water, a sandy shore, sports facilities, dining establishments, and a fresh water shower.
Fantastic experience: It is a pleasure to walk along this beach, with shops, people, and a welcoming atmosphere. The surfers give it a very special energy.
Negative experience: The dogs are leashed. Yes.
Fantastic experience: Excellent sandy beach, clean water, developed infrastructure, cafes and restaurants on the promenade, volleyball courts, a surfing area, and the availability of showers with pressurized water. Perfect cleanliness on the beach. One of the best beaches. Beautiful views. The sunset is a separate topic for lovers of this phenomenon; it is magnificent here.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach, with less fame than La Concha but equally interesting.
Fantastic experience: What a beach. If you like surfing just go.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach, a bit less crowded than the large beach of La Concha.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach for catching waves. An amazing corner of San Sebastián!!!
Fantastic experience: This is a beach!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach
Fantastic experience: Very good access ways
Fantastic experience: Excellent for swimming and enjoying a sunny day
Fantastic experience: Good wave jumping!
Fantastic experience: Great beach. Cozy area. Many surfers.
Positive experience: Beach mainly reserved for surfers. However, there are small swimming areas. Lockers, restrooms, it is well equipped. But what... surprises is that you encounter naked people without it being indicated.
Negative experience: It's a beautiful beach, but I didn't like that the lifeguards limited the swimming area to a third of the beach; people were crowded in the water and the rest of the beach was for surfers, I found it dangerous.
Positive experience: Clean...and not so crowded...
Positive experience: nice beach mostly locals where here and there being completely nude is not a problem it seems!
Fantastic experience: Excellent beach. Clean sand. Waves four meters high toss vacationers around))) but you can't pull anyone out of the water by the ears. There are showers. If such waves are frightening, there is a much calmer (main city) beach in the bay a kilometer to the left.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach for surfing! Jazz festival is so good we love the local band!
Fantastic experience: ❤️
Positive experience: nice beach, you can also surf there but it is very crowded
Fantastic experience: Nice public beach, in the center and with good waves for surfing and bodyboarding. For swimming, the other city beach is better.
Fantastic experience: Nice beach, a younger atmosphere than in the rest of the beaches in the city.
Fantastic experience: One of the best, if not the best city beach I know!
Positive experience: a little less crowded than on the main beach of the city and I appreciated the showers to rinse off
Positive experience: Info camperisti (07/07/24): This is the beach for surfers and ball games, but it is preferably frequented by locals.
Fantastic experience: My favorite beach in the world
Positive experience: An urban beach with not very good waves
Positive experience: It's very nice, and quite clean.
Fantastic experience: Beach with quite a few waves, recommended
Fantastic experience: No comments, better to come and enjoy this beautiful place.
Fantastic experience: On the left side of the beach, it's the most interesting. Not recommended for the faint-hearted, those with weak hearts, and children should not go there.
Fantastic experience: A crowded but beautiful beach.
Fantastic experience: Magical place, you can share with family, go surfing, go with your pet and have a spectacular day
Fantastic experience: You have to be there and feel the vibe ✅
Fantastic experience: Because the views are wonderful.. it smells like the sea... I go to clear my mind and there is always air... and surfers and there is Sagües with its bars and its young people laughing and all of this together gives me life and breath.
Fantastic experience: Superb beach for surfers and for walking too.
Fantastic experience: They performed next to the concert venue. The place is impressive - from the high waves to the calm bay. Awesome!
Positive experience: Quite a nice cove in San Sebastian. You can see the city's iconic statue from here. There is also a church not far from the beach that is worth a visit. A note to those planning to take a walk: the stroll ends at this beach. You cannot continue further due to landslides.
Fantastic experience: One of the famous beaches of San Sebastián
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful beach. Next to the river mouth. With a magnificent pedestrian promenade. Area for water activities for children. When we were there, they had set up different stalls, stages, etc. Less crowded than La Concha beach. Also, fewer anchored boats. Less bothersome seagulls.
Fantastic experience: This is very incredible beauty.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful surfing beach, also suitable for beginners. Bera Bera Surf school on site is very good.
Positive experience: It's a nice beach, but not for swimming. The waves are quite big and swimming is not allowed. At night, this beach is cleaned of trash.
Fantastic experience: White sand, quiet, cozy, girls sunbathe without bras.
Fantastic experience: A dream to relax. Cleanliness at the beach is top-notch.
Fantastic experience: The beach is very nice and the waves are great!
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, peaceful and family-friendly place
Fantastic experience: The best place to share with friends, family, or in solitude.
Fantastic experience: Great beach with sand vball and surfing
Negative experience: The swimming area is getting smaller each time because surfers have invaded the beach.
Fantastic experience: Very fun if you like waves. Great for surfing.
Negative experience: Beautiful beach, but the swimming area is becoming more limited. The town hall has restricted the bathing zones to 3 areas of 59 meters each... Considering that Zurriola is 800 meters long, the remaining 650 meters are designated for surfers... If summer is the time when you can get into the water for a swim, and surfers have all year round to surf... I don't understand this restriction by the town hall during the summer season. Or that in my case, living just a few meters from the beach, I have to go to La Concha, which is a 20-minute walk away, to be able to swim peacefully. I think surfing is great, and I am a surfer myself... But there is too much chaos with the surf schools... which have grown like mushrooms in recent years.

Positive experience: Very surfer beach.

There are no rocks. Overall, it is a very clean beach, except when there is a storm that collects all the garbage and tree debris that falls into the river.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic beach and stunning ocean
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, we happened to see the sunset.
Fantastic experience: This beach is a good place for surfing! The waves!
Fantastic experience: Wonderful, very relaxing, fine sand that doesn't burn, the water is at a very good temperature, very clean and clear, I love it, I recommend it 100%
Negative experience: Beautiful beach. Although the lifeguards on the day we went didn't allow us to get in more than 10 centimeters, so it's hard to enjoy.
Negative experience: This beach is in San Sebastián. Basque Country SPAIN.. warm waters. clear. spacious.
Positive experience: The sand was quite clean and there are trash cans to keep it that way, although there are people who insist on making it not so...it's a shame
Positive experience: San Sebastián is a rip-off. The prices are outrageous. At the Simpson bar, they charged us €8.60 for a coffee and a can of beer. Never again that city. I don't have the money to pay for it, even so, I won't go back to that area, let alone to that bar.
Positive experience: Good for surfers but waves are too high to swim
Fantastic experience: Nice beach great views, everything around is beautiful. Highly recommended
Fantastic experience: Great place for the surfers!
Fantastic experience: The place for surf in San Sebastian Nice Beach, you have several places around to rent boards, wetsuits and take classes. One is even inside the beach (at least in summer)
Fantastic experience: Went here for sunset on a Monday. It wasn’t slammed but somewhat packed. Had plenty of areas to park up against for the amazing views. It is the smaller of the two beaches and tends to get less crowded. Very peaceful!
Fantastic experience: Nice beach with public showers. Also good for surfing

Fantastic experience: Très beau... toutefois on a pas pied rapidement...
Fantastic experience: One of the best basque country beaches, for young people; all kind of surfing and leisure activities
Fantastic experience: Really nice and pretty well organised beach. Mainly for surfers but quite possible to swim.
Fantastic experience: Best beach to relax during the summer months
Negative experience: Basic beach. Sand so no rocks. Jesus on the left. Surfers makes the law. Overcrowded. Go to Corsica for nice beaches instead.
Fantastic experience: Loved this beach better than Concha beach. Less busy and the water is better plus there is lifeguards there to keep an eye on the surfers.
Positive experience: Big beach. Lovely sand. Good for surfing, but waves are pretty big in the afternoon so be careful if you prefer calm water
Positive experience: The second of the beaches in San Sebastian, a little quieter than the main beach and there is less going on but never the less still beautiful. If you want less hustle and bustle this will suit you better.
Fantastic experience: Clean and beautiful Despite the weather we had a blast
Fantastic experience: This was probably the nicest place I've ever surfed, I've never experienced sweating my wetsuit while catching the waves. I could not believe how warm the water was, and the waves only made it better. It's a beautiful beach and very well kept, with a great atmosphere and plenty of facilities around. Whether you want to come and catch the surf or just sit at one of the coastal restaurants, this beach is a must.
Fantastic experience: Aug 2019 - $12 Euro for 2 chairs and umbrella at 1pm (until 7pm). No towels. Great surf watching and less crowded than La Concha! Hope that helps.
Fantastic experience: Surfers Paradise. Great Waves, clean and not overly crowded beach (september), town is extremly clean too. Good food and everything you need available in walking range.
Fantastic experience: This beach is very clean and less crowded with tourists. It's a surfer hot spot. If you're looking for the perfect wave or want to watch surfers this is the place to be!
Fantastic experience: Nice surfing spot! Great looking beach and scenery. Keep in mind though because this is completely unclear. Don't read the sings about the colored flags! Red flags are for surfing only! If there are yellow flags among the them, these mark the area for swimming only!
Positive experience: Amazing beach on the right side of San Sebastián Clean with lifeguard on duty Many surfers due to amazing waves Some nude man on the left side of the beach Topless all over
Fantastic experience: Nice and wide! Located right in the old center of the city. Soft and clean sand , nice waves fog surfers or just dive in like I did! Many families with kids!
Fantastic experience: Great Beach, good surf
Fantastic experience: Great beach toilet facilities shower everything at your fingertips
