Fantastic experience: February 2025, the whole beach to ourselves. We arrived by motorcycle to the last parking lot and from there enjoyed the views, the sand, and took a nice walk. We didn't swim, but as we were leaving, there was a brave soul who went into the clear and cold waters. Unlike the peak season, there is no problem finding parking or paying to see this wonder of nature.

Fantastic experience: Ses Illetes beach is the most spectacular beach in Formentera, located at the northern tip of the island. Crystal clear waters of bright turquoise and white sand, it is often compared to a Caribbean paradise. This beach is part of the Natural Park of the Salinas of Ibiza and Formentera, which helps to preserve its natural beauty. The beach is equipped at some points and free at many others. There are a couple of restaurants, one on the left a bit elevated and another on the right, they are very expensive, we opted for a packed lunch. After taking a nice walk along the beach, you will soon reach Playa de Levante, equally beautiful and it's a stunning walk. At Ses Illetas beach, the sunset is spectacular. Easily accessible also from Les Pujols by bus, but if I remember correctly, it costs around 10 euros per person, as it is considered a tourist bus. Otherwise, it can be easily accessed by scooter or car, and the price is not excessive. Scooter: The cost ranges from €2 to €4, depending on the season. Car: The cost ranges from €4 to €6, depending on the season. I'm posting a photo of the price list from one of the restaurants and the bus schedule, for those who are interested. The bus stop is about 500 meters from the beach.

Fantastic experience: Beach with transparent waters and dreamy sunsets. The problem, as always, is overcrowding and uncontrolled tourism; it is causing this habitat to deteriorate. Yachts and sailboats that violate the rules, with no solution in sight. And tourists who roam freely through dunes and protected areas. In fact, the grounded sailboat continues to leak gasoline, and it's December. They charge an entrance fee to protect the Ses Salines area, but then that money does not serve to clean it up. Where will that money go?

Fantastic experience: One of the most beautiful beaches in Formentera, absolutely worth a visit! I got there by renting a bike, perhaps not the best thing to do in August because it’s extremely hot, plus there are a lot of people. Fantastic experience: Dreamily beautiful, turquoise color, crystal clear, enchanting coast where one can take great walks, you can find great quiet spots even in high season. Great viewpoints where you can see the entire 'tongue'. Truly a paradise on earth. Only the restaurant was not so great and extremely overpriced, in contrast to the sunshades and loungers, which were very cheap... Those who don't experience it are to blame themselves. Quickly accessible from the port with a rented scooter.

Negative experience: Ses Illetes is not worth it at all. They charge you €6 to enter and then make you walk 1.8 km under the scorching sun from the parking lot. If you plan to come with children, forget it. The experience is anything but pleasant. There are better beaches in Formentera without so much drama.

Positive experience: The beach is good, the water is optimal and beautiful. But the beach has a lot a lot of people.

Fantastic experience: The most beautiful beach in Formentera. Reachable from the port by a shuttle that costs 3/5€ per person, and there is also one to return. From the shuttle stop, you have to walk a bit to get to the beach. I recommend not stopping at the first beach but continuing a walk until you reach some rocks from which you can see another beach nestled between two seas. There are several nearby restaurants, not very cheap, and if you want to eat there, I recommend making a reservation because they are always full.

Fantastic experience: Water and wonderful colors, free beach, I suggest going there by motorcycle or bike. In any case, taxis also arrive and there is a bus service. There are three restaurants, two of which also have bar service, very expensive.

Positive experience: Crystal clear water. If you want to spend a day in extreme heat, this is your place. The beach has no services, showers, or shaded areas... If you go by bus, you will be frustrated by the waits; there is no place to find shade. Then you walk about 300 meters along a dusty road, with no pedestrian area, so be very careful with vehicles. A stressful beach.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular beach, you can get there in Catamarca from Ibiza or by a recreational boat. Then you have to take the bus from the port of La Savina, Line 3 (yellow) to the beach, you have to walk about 5-8 minutes from the bus stop. Ses Illetes is the closest beach in Formentera, but there are a few more a little further away that also have a bus route or you can go by motorcycle or bicycle.

Negative experience: It is very important to ensure that the weather is nice and sunny, otherwise it is a shame to travel to this beautiful beach and not be able to enjoy it. Besides, they charge you €5 per vehicle, and it's not close either by car or after leaving the car in the parking. Nevertheless, we will return if it is sunny, as that is the most important thing for me because if not, you cannot appreciate the beauty of this beach.

Fantastic experience: White sand beach, highly recommended, no rocks, you have to wake up early to be able to park close in the paid parking (for access, not by the hour), possibility to change beaches easily if the wind shifts and there are waves. Special for going with children and bringing a sandwich, there are also trendy beach bars nearby, but prepare your wallet. There is a lot of boat traffic because they can anchor, be careful with the channels as you can't swim and there's a danger of being hit by boats and propellers. A 10 out of 10 for the beach.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach, one of the best on the island, crystal clear water, white sand, and the possibility to swim on either side. Generally, one side always has a bit more wind than the other. Highly recommended. To get there we had to pay 6 euros.

Fantastic experience: Best beach in the island, no doubt. In the earlier morning, around 10 am it is so peaceful and beautiful it feels almost unreal. This will be a long review :) Tips for coming here: it is best to come with your car. Rental or your own, but car only. I can’t believe people come here with bicycles. Even motorbikes are not good choice but ok. Why? You have a lot for pedaling. Also the road is crazy dusty and there is no shade on that road. I saw people riding bicycles with kids! I would just not recommend. I would not recommend even a taxi. Because on your way back, you will have to wait a lot, we saw around 50 people waiting for a taxi in one of those taxi stops. The price for a taxi for example from La Savina to Ses Illetes is 20 euros in one way. If you come by car: if you come around 9:30 am, you will have plenty of free parking spots, even in Es Ministre restaurant which is closest spot for the beach. If you come after 9:30 am, it is a gamble. Worst that can happen is that you need to park in Tanga restaurant. From there you have 30 minute walk to the Ses Illetes. It was brutal but manageable. Beach: on the side where Ses Illetes is, which is left side if you are looking at the map, there are 3 beaches, or 3 parts of Illetes. They are not all on the map, but if you walk you will see these places. First part is right next to the parking near Es Moli De Sal. If you start walking from here near the water, you can walk all the way up to the last part of Ses Illetes. I recommend visiting this first part of Illetes, and the last part. Water in the morning is a bit colder but after some time you get used to it and it feels warmer. Also, during the day, it gets warmer. If you stay on the last part of Illetes, the top one, there is a beach on the right side too, where you can also swim. Water here is warmer, there are always waves, but sometimes they are too big and strong so watch out. But I loved this part too, it was even better than left part of the beach. Winds: I didn’t quite understand wind websites. But if the wind is 9 kts then it is ok. Anything above that, 10, 13 or more - just go to some other beach like Vogamari-Migjorn, which is on another side of the island. Also, watch out for the seagulls, they are not afraid to come close to you and take food from your bag or even hand. I saw one seagull taking food from one guy's hands and the other one took cookies right out of the people's bag! All in all, you HAVE to visit this beach, it is a must and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Incredible beach! White sand and crystal clear water! Nothing to envy from the Caribbean! Very top beach! There are several parking options to consider; if you park in the first one, you will have to walk a long way along the beach, but the walk with the views is worth it!

Fantastic experience: Really one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. We rode our bikes from the port. The path was not difficult and was fun. Although sometimes you had to weave alongside cars and scooters. But since everyone was going slowly, it was no problem. Some sections, especially towards the end, are quite sandy, where you sometimes have to push to avoid slipping with the bike. What you absolutely need is a sunshade. You should get one in advance if possible.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful beach, we just went there on a day when it was cloudy in the morning and suddenly it cleared up and we were alone. The water was beautiful and super clean. Just to highlight that you should be careful as there are some areas close to the rocks with sharp stones sticking out of the sand; one person cut their foot. It's not everywhere, so there's no need to worry.

Fantastic experience: Spiaggia meravigliosa, caraibica, sabbia rosa. Dai colori INCREDIBILI. Consiglio di raggiungere la parte più a nord (l'ultima) della spiaggia dove si può ammirare la lingua con il doppio mare. È perfetta perché a seconda di dove soffia il vento ci si può posizionare in una delle due sponde. I locali presenti lungo la spiaggia non sono affatto economici, consiglio di arrivare attrezzati o comunque consapevoli. L'ingresso a piedi, bici o taxi non comporta il pagamento della tassa di ingresso. Diversamente in auto o scooter si.

Positive experience: Posto molto bello ma c’è troppa gente, acqua fredda ma molto limpida. Spiaggia con sabbia finissima non molto grande in larghezza ma abbastanza lunga. Mezzi di trasporto costosi.

Positive experience: Leider konnten wir nicht ins Wasser, da ganz viele Quallen ausgerechnet dort waren. Aber auch ein Spaziergang am Strand war wunderschön.

Fantastic experience: La spiaggia più bella al mondo per quello che ho visto. L’acqua è cristallina anche a quattro metri di profondità si vede il fondale. Spettacolare il tramonto visto dalla spiaggia. Acqua calda e pulita. Paradiso naturale.

Fantastic experience: MERAVIGLIA ️una delle più belle spiagge. A meno 10 minuti dal centro, particolare della spiaggia , c’è un punto dove si può fare il bagno da entrambe i lati della spiaggia. Mare cristallino pulito spettacolare . C’è una zona appena si arriva dove ci sono lettini e uno staff a disposizione oppure se si cammina per 10 minuti si va oltre ( consigliato ) dove la spiaggia è libera e ci si mette dove si vuole. Location molto tranquilla, si passa quasi più tempo in acqua che sulla spiaggia. Per arrivare e entrare nel complesso c’è da pagare una piccola quota di qualche euro ( sia per auto che per scooter ) , ma se si arriva presto alla mattina l’entrata è libera. Se siete a Formentera qua la tappa è d’obbligo.

Fantastic experience: Playa espectacular!!! Es sin duda visita obligada en la isla. El parking se llena en temporada alta a las 10.30 y desde el parking de abajo se tarda más de media hora en llegar. Otra opción es ir en taxi que siempre acceden, también las motos

Positive experience: No le pongo la máxima nota porque, a pesar de ser quizás la mejor playa de Formentera, el acceso es un drama. Estar haciendo cola de quince minutos a pleno sol (¡y en moto!) es de locos. Tendrían que promover un sistema de reserva anticipada que permitiera evitar el peaje manual.

Fantastic experience: Hermosa!!! Un placer esas aguas, súper recomendable ir a pasar el día a formentera para disfrutar sus maravillosas calas. Para la vuelta, recomiendo mucho tomar el último ferry para coincidir con el atardecer

Fantastic experience: PARECE QUE ESTAS EN EL PURO CARIBE!!! Sus arenas blancas y el color turquesa de sus aguas hacen que te sientas en el paraíso. Además, hay mucho tramo donde el agua no te cubre al principio de Ses Illetes. Mucha gente se queda al principio pero si andas más, encontrarás una de las playas más bonitas del mundo. Es una recta en la que hay mar a los dos lados! Impresionante.

Fantastic experience: This beach is a paradise!! In my life, I have traveled to many seaside locations, but this is one of the best. Crystal clear water, well-maintained, and very respectful people. I recommend arriving early in the morning as the spots for scooters, and especially for cars, fill up quickly. The free beach is quite large, making it easy to find a spot.
