Cala del Moraig
Information
Cala del Moraig is a stunning beach nestled among rocky cliffs, offering picturesque views and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors have described it as a hidden gem of the Costa Blanca, known for its natural beauty. The beach is accessible via a steep descent that takes around 10 minutes, and parking is available for a flat fee of 12€ for the day. A shuttle service operates between the parking area and the beach, although some have noted that it's essential to arrive early due to limited parking spots.
However, there are mixed opinions regarding the costs associated with the visit. While many appreciate the tranquility and the scenic surroundings, they find the parking fee and lack of facilities, such as restaurants or shops, inconvenient. Recommendations include bringing your own supplies and wearing suitable footwear due to the rocky terrain.
Highlights:
- Beautiful turquoise waters ideal for snorkeling.
- Stunning natural scenery and exciting caves to explore.
- Peaceful atmosphere, especially if visited during off-peak times.
Visitors are advised to come prepared, as the beach does not have many amenities, and the enchanting views make it a worthwhile destination.

Positive experience: Beautiful spot, but quite a long slope to walk down and back up to reach this cove. Don't forget the water shoes. Parking can be tricky.
Negative experience: The City Council has lost the plot, I think it's fine to have paid parking in summer, but from April to November? If it is completely empty....
Positive experience: Great bay and not overcrowded in November, perfect for swimming with swim shoes due to the coarse pebble beach, so the water is also very clear with strong waves. Parking above the bay is possible, but the machine wanted 12 euros; luckily I can't speak Spanish and only a little bit of English, so I couldn't read the parking sign. The path to the beach is steep and not suitable for people with walking disabilities.
Fantastic experience: Excellent place to enjoy the beauty of God, it is very well maintained. However, I do not recommend leaving the car in the parking lot located three kilometers from the cove, where a bus charges you for a round trip, and then when it's time to return, they don't want to let you on because they have resold the seats, leaving many of us who bought the mandatory round trip ticket stranded. Be careful, they are immoral and shameless.
Fantastic experience: The beach is magnificent... if anyone has the opportunity, I highly recommend it... parking by the beach is paid, 12 € for the whole day, but it's a solution far better than 4 years ago... the best days to visit the beach are Monday or Tuesday, when the traffic is definitely less and there are fewer people on the beach. I highly recommend it.

Positive experience: Dogs are unfortunately banned at this beach, even in the off-season. There are also people sitting on the beach who monitor this. The cove looks very beautiful from above.

Fantastic experience: one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever known in my life. although the sea is dangerous for swimming, due to the rocks and breaking waves. still, it is definitely worth going. the parking is paid by the hour.
Positive experience: Very nice, only it has a lot of rocks.
Fantastic experience: It is a beautiful beach and has a path and a kind of cave that makes you feel like a mermaid, although sometimes the waves are very strong and the stones are slippery. If you like stony beaches, it's perfect. I recommend going with water shoes.
Fantastic experience: The water is amazing, the views as well, but the rocks are very hard, great for taking some photos and then going to a more comfortable beach.
Negative experience: Outrageous that they charge for a full day of parking €12 even if you go at 5 PM... how hard is it to break it down by hours??? We're talking about common sense and that's something all politicians lack... There is a bus that goes up the last stretch of the beach to the lowest part of the parking (the rest you have to keep climbing on foot even after you have paid) but the bus only runs until 6:30 PM, and you pay for parking until 7 PM. Chronicle of a ROBBERY. The beach is made of stones. The cane is nice but it's just for arriving, going to see the Cove, taking the two obligatory photos, and leaving quickly to avoid paying for parking. A shame.

Positive experience: A perfect cove to spend the day. The access is not very complicated but parking costs €12 and it's not unlimited, so don't go too late. There are clean bathrooms at the entrance, and then there's the very nice cave to take your best influencer photos. There are no beach bars or anything to buy down at the cove. It's perfect, but I give it a 3 so it doesn't get crowded. That's just how life is.
Fantastic experience: We loved it, beautiful cove, however nothing to eat ☺️ we found a very nice restaurant up in the heights in a beautiful campsite with a pool and a magnificent view
Fantastic experience: One of my favorite coves in the Valencian Community. Crystal clear water and stones. With a super natural look, ideal for kayaking, SUP, snorkeling, and spending the day. There are many things to do; you can go to hang out at Cala de los Tiestos by the water, heading north. You can also snorkel all around that area, there are many fish. The cave is super interesting and it has a very nice viewpoint at the top. To the south, there is a cave that can be accessed by water and is spectacular. This year (2023) there were umbrellas and hammocks for rent. You also need to reserve and you pay 12 euros to park, which seems fair to me and avoids overcrowding. There is also a free bus service to go down and up, which could be more frequent. The only drawback is that there is nothing to buy down there; I'm not asking for a 'Corte Inglés'. But a small beach bar with some sandwiches or fresh water at least wouldn't be bad.
Fantastic experience: Super Beautiful view from the top. Beautiful beach, color of the water is even more beautiful than the picture! It's a stone beach, (so if you are not use to bring water shoes to enter the water) fresh water for a great swim, caves around if you have a kayak to explore. I saw ppl snorkeling, I won't be surprised to see some fishes around, next time I will do. There is a parking but it's not free. They charge 12€ for the day 9am to 21pm. No option to pay for few hours only, so if you go it's good to spend the day there, beach, picnic & a beautiful trekking to do! No restaurant or shops around it's a natural area (love it!) I really really loved this beach and my time there. Maybe avoid flip flop if you plan to go on the cave rocks side ( there is possibility to reach a cave buy walk but stone are really slippery, trust me ! ) Enjoy you day!
Fantastic experience: Parking at the top and a steep walk down to the beach. Very scenic place, with some great opportunities for photographs. No restaurants in early Apr but the water is crystal clear. Lovely place for a swim and just lying around. Parking may be difficult to find in peak season.

Fantastic experience: Nice cove, parking €12 all day. There is a bus that goes down from the parking. There are lifeguards and rental of the little carts with slides. The only downside is that for children, the shore drops suddenly.
Positive experience: The cove is spectacular. The views along the access road, the two caves, the crystal-clear water. The only downside is that the path to get there is uphill and quite steep. I would also add that it seems like a true abuse by the town hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell to charge €12 for access. There is no one at the entrance to explain where the parking area for non-residents is and how to access the cove, there are no lifeguards, there is a bathroom but it is closed. I imagined that this money would be used for the maintenance of the cove, but it is clear that they have seen a good business opportunity due to its difficult access and the number of visitors it receives daily.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, very entertaining as it has caves. With a stand-up paddleboard, you can reach Cala Tiesto in about 15 minutes. It is very large, no shade except right next to the rock early in the morning. The parking costs €12 for the whole day, you can make a reservation from the Moraig app, if you can't find it on the app because it says it's full, you can always pay there at a kiosk they have. They also have a bus that takes people from the parking area to the beach which is still a kilometer away. It is totally free, I suppose it is included in the €12 parking fee. There is nothing to buy or water down there, you have to go prepared.
Fantastic experience: Beach with clear waters and pebbles (a water shoe is essential). It's a delight to spend time there. In the afternoon, it is mostly in the shade. It is worth noting that both going down and coming back up, you exercise your legs on the long slope, but it's worth it.
Fantastic experience: It is a beautiful beach and has a path and a kind of cave that makes you feel like a mermaid, although sometimes the waves are very strong and the stones are slippery. If you like stony beaches, it's perfect. I recommend going with water shoes.

Fantastic experience: One of the best coves I visited! Incredible water, super clear! Until 7 PM you have to pay for parking (€12). We will return (with a paddle board).

Fantastic experience: Spectacular cove, but be prepared for a good climb up and down. With crystal clear waters and perfect for some snorkeling.
Fantastic experience: Cala del Moraig beach, hidden along the coast of Alicante, is a true paradise for anyone seeking peace and unspoiled nature. Surrounded by high cliffs, this pebble beach offers a spectacular backdrop and the crystal-clear water invites swimming and snorkeling. There are some practical parking options available. It is important to park in the red zone and register the license plate for 12 euros at the machine, as the parking spaces are monitored by cameras. The access to the beach is a bit adventurous, as it leads over a steep and winding road, but the view and idyllic location are definitely worth the drive. The beach itself does not have extensive facilities, which preserves its natural charm and tranquility – an ideal place to escape everyday stress and fully relax ️✨.
Positive experience: Very beautiful cove and also the cave of the arches. The water looked very clear for snorkeling. The downside is going in high season as it is crowded.
Fantastic experience: Wednesday, August 23, 2023 We rate Cala del Moraig 10/10 points. - Drive from downtown Alicante takes about 1 hour through the mountains in a very beautiful area with villas and many palm trees. - Parking situation is tricky - definitely be there before 9 AM, otherwise all parking spots will be full and you risk having to walk far. - Register at the parking meter with your car license plate before heading down to the bay, costs €12 from 9 AM to 7 PM (no ticket is given, the license plate is saved in the system). - The descent to the bay takes about 10 minutes, steep and sunny (don’t forget about the climb back up - so keep your load light) and definitely bring enough food and water (we had nearly too little with 5 liters for two). - Because once you're there, you don’t want to leave. - Very large and spacious beach. - But also very well attended. - Stony beach, with some sandy areas (we found one). - Water is crystal clear and clean. - The prettiest water of the entire vacation. - Suitable for snorkeling, saw fish and octopus. - Lifeguard on duty. - Water shoes and beach chairs are beneficial, secure the sunshade with stones unless you get a sandy spot. - Definitely a place you must see if you’re vacationing in the province of Alicante, and it will never be forgotten.
Fantastic experience: Parking is a bit expensive. Although the app option tells you there are no spots, there is a machine where you can pay. An important thing is that around 5 PM there is no more sun because the wall of rocks casts a shadow. I recommend going with little weight and with a snorkel.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place with turquoise water. It is advisable to visit not in high season, as there is a paid parking lot with limited spaces; the only fee is €12, regardless of how long you stay. There are cameras throughout the parking area monitoring parking. There is access for disabled individuals; a beacon would allow only vehicle access, and the descent is a 750 m slope with considerable incline, which must be done on foot, both downhill and uphill. It is advisable to go early in the morning, because the rock formation that shapes the cove is very high, generating shade in the afternoon from 5:30 PM in October, and it will be in total shade by around 6 PM. The grotto is interesting to photograph, and swimming should be done with caution due to currents inside the grotto. The water temperature is incredible and refreshing. There is marine richness, so it is recommended to have snorkeling goggles to see a variety of fish. There is a food kiosk, sunbeds, and umbrellas only in summer. The best time to visit is in September or October; the cove is untouched, without sunbeds or a drinks kiosk, in which case you should bring your own drinks and food, but the cove presents its full nature with less crowding. Don’t miss it. The access route passing through Benidorm and Calpe may have traffic delays. There are good signs for access.
Negative experience: Cannot drive down to go diving without special permissions anymore.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place with caves and kayaks rental. 25€ for 2 sun beds and an umbrella. It was difficult to find a parking spot, so be early.

Fantastic experience: Preciosa!
Fantastic experience: Nothing more is possible
Fantastic experience: Mega nice to linger.
Fantastic experience: A dream place
Positive experience: Beautiful spot, but quite a long slope to walk down and back up to reach this cove. Don't forget the water shoes. Parking can be tricky.
Fantastic experience: Fabesca
Fantastic experience: very beautiful, No parking fee is required in winter.
Negative experience: SCAMMERS We went to this PUBLIC beach paying €12 per car, having to walk up and down under the sun to put the payment receipt inside the car, and despite that, we received an €80 fine at home for parking in a resident zone, which is absurd considering that, WHILE KEEPING PHOTOS OF WHERE WE HAD PARKED, the municipal police told us we might have made a mistake, but they obviously never make mistakes! Ultimately, with the proof of payment and the place where we had parked, they still made us pay this fine in addition to the €12 we had already spent.
Fantastic experience: Heaven on earth. Do not miss this spot. Bring walking shoes
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful bay.
Positive experience: A beautiful secluded beach when it is not too crowded. It's a shame that the small 'cave' is no longer accessible.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful little beach....definitely worth descending from Cumbre del Sol.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful
Positive experience: Dogs are unfortunately banned at this beach, even in the off-season. There are also people sitting on the beach who monitor this. The cove looks very beautiful from above.
Fantastic experience: 12€ for parking, shuttle or long walk up/down
Fantastic experience: one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever known in my life. although the sea is dangerous for swimming, due to the rocks and breaking waves. still, it is definitely worth going. the parking is paid by the hour.
Positive experience: Very nice, only it has a lot of rocks.
Fantastic experience: difficult to park, a lot of slope, but it's worth it, beautiful
Fantastic experience: Very nice beach. Shuttle takes you up and down from parking.
Fantastic experience: Very good place to go with friends and enjoy the day...
Negative experience: Waves, jellyfish, expensive parking and a steep slope to reach the beach... Flee, foolish ones!!
Fantastic experience: Very nice
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful
Fantastic experience: Lovely place with caves and kayaks rental. 25€ for 2 sun beds and an umbrella. It was difficult to find a parking spot, so be early.
Positive experience: Nice place to go and visit, yet quite a climb getting back to your car
Fantastic experience: It is a beautiful beach and has a path and a kind of cave that makes you feel like a mermaid, although sometimes the waves are very strong and the stones are slippery. If you like stony beaches, it's perfect. I recommend going with water shoes.
Fantastic experience: The steep slope is bearable thanks to the beautiful views and the lovely cove of turquoise water, a quiet place that has the only downside of the Sun disappearing very early as it is blocked by the cliff. It’s better to go early to make the most of the hours in this beautiful spot. At its entrance, there is another incredible place, the cave of arches, and together they create a lovely location that is worth visiting, even despite the exorbitant parking fee. You can also access it through hiking paths and thus avoid the steep parking fees; this is the toughest means but it is worth it for the views and the connection with the beautiful surroundings.
Positive experience: We arrived on Sunday at 2 PM, couldn't park the car for an hour, everything was full, constantly needed to drive in circles as there was no chance to just stand still. In the end, I parked in a green area for residents, my car had Spanish plates. Upon returning, I found a 40 euro fine under the windshield, 12 euros was the price for parking, which wasn’t clear at all what I paid for. As for the beach, everything is good, beautiful bay with turquoise water, definitely take shoes for the stones...
Fantastic experience: Nice cove, parking €12 all day. There is a bus that goes down from the parking. There are lifeguards and rental of the little carts with slides. The only downside is that for children, the shore drops suddenly.
Fantastic experience: Very nice cove. Parking costs €12 in season. And then you have to go down a path of about 10 minutes on cement.
Fantastic experience: Fabulously beautiful
Negative experience: Make me walk 20 minutes and pay 12€ to go to the beach. Capitalism at its finest
Negative experience: IF YOU GO there FIRST time please be aware: it’s challenging to go there- almost 1.5 km down and then going back you should go up, almost climbing. It’s a long & hard way to the beach! 12 euro for parking 20 for umbrella and sun-bed. Don’t recommend, it’s not worth it
Positive experience: Excellent
Positive experience: Charming little cove, a marvel of nature!!!
Fantastic experience: The water is amazing, the views as well, but the rocks are very hard, great for taking some photos and then going to a more comfortable beach.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular cove, but be prepared for a good climb up and down. With crystal clear waters and perfect for some snorkeling.
A shame.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful, but a steep slope.. Parking 12€
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place, the downside is that there are no chairs to rent on Saturdays or Sundays, and it's a struggle with so many rocks.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach with clear waters and beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the day there. You have to leave the car up and the parking costs 12 euros for the whole day. There is a bus taking you to the beach for no additional cost, which is great because the road down is very steep.
Fantastic experience: Incredible cove, in June it was not crowded at all and you have different paths to explore and see different views. Rocky beach, water shoes are necessary. At a certain time in the afternoon, the sun does not reflect on its waters and they become a darker color. It's worth a visit.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, the best I have visited so far
Fantastic experience: Beautiful beach and crystal clear water.
Fantastic experience: Amazing beach, sometimes with too many people but deserves the visit.
Fantastic experience: I thought this would be a top place to walk, but it’s also a top place to swim, in the end: mega trail + hyper beach. Another must-visit location! Parking is expensive, but if you plan for the whole day, then 12 euros isn’t too much! The parking itself and the payment machine are convenient, but this can also be done online!
Fantastic experience: Very quiet at this time
Negative experience: The town hall of Benitachell knows how to make easy money. 12 euros to park at the beach and a lot of police lurking, fining everyone who doesn't get a ticket.
Negative experience: Cove that from this year they charge you a flat fee of 12 euros to park the vehicle on a slope on the street to be able to go to the beach with the excuse from the Town Hall according to the page of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell wants to protect the cove of Moraig and the entire natural environment of the LIC Penya-segats de la Marina, where the considerable increase in visitors has endangered the balance of the environment. To mitigate the lack of control and overcrowding of vehicles in recent years, the solution proposed by the council is a new vehicle control system to prevent overloading and degradation of the environment and, at the same time, promote energy savings and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In summary, it's a money-making effort by the Town Hall that now we will have to pay just to go to the beach. When I arrived at 6:00 PM on Sunday there were 2 civil protection motorcyclists monitoring the parking. From 7:00 PM onwards it is free, but since there was still 1 hour left the fee is 12 euros. The last time we return and leave money to the Town Hall of Poblé Nou de Benitatxell. What a pity that people who do not have money can no longer even go to the beach.
Fantastic experience: Although it sounds strange, even more than the beautiful cove, the visit is to create a spectacular photo collection. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
Fantastic experience: We were lucky to visit it outside the summer season, with few people around, and the sun loungers folded. We parked at the top; the steep slope is not difficult. They told us that during high season there is a free bus that takes you there. The most attractive feature is the cave on the right side of the beach, a cave where the water penetrates, forming a small pool, perfect for a dip. The photos accompany.
Negative experience: I would like to inform that currently the parking is paid, even during the low season. There is only a fee from 9:00 to 19:00, and it is €12. It doesn't allow you to pay less even if you are only going to stay for 2 hours. It is a flat rate. And if at least you had services like a place to eat to stay longer, it wouldn't be so bad, or simply if the water fountains they installed had water. I consider it a rip-off. The coves and the beach are beautiful. But with this parking fee, you think twice before deciding to go. Since you have nothing, you would have to equip yourself very well to make up for those €12 of parking.
Fantastic experience: You MUST absolutely visit this Cala if you are in Alicante or nearby. The water is of an incredible blue, water is warm and just incredible. If you like blue waters and love adventure, this Cala Is for you. Parking is at the top, there is a bus that operates a route from / to the beach. There is quite a bit to walk, so make sure you take a hat and sunscreen on hot days. Also bring an umbrella, they do not rent any at this Cala. Also only card is accepted for parking, and they have a pretty strict rule with parking payment. Overall, my favorite Cala in Alicante! Enjoy!
Positive experience: You have to go down and then up a steep slope.
Negative experience: Very beautiful cove, however, an exorbitant price to park there 12 euros (to get to a public beach): unacceptable. Furthermore, registration and reservation are mandatory on the website. The only way not to pay is to park in the residential area located on the heights, 25 minutes walk away.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful place worth seeing. Beach with turquoise sea color surrounded by rocks. Steep access from the parking lot but entirely paved with asphalt. The drive to the parking lot poses no difficulties even for larger cars. I recommend.
Fantastic experience: Cala del Moraig is a true gem of the Costa Blanca, breathtaking with its heavenly beach, hidden among majestic cliffs. It is a place where the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean meet white sand, creating perfect conditions for swimming and diving. Spectacular rock formations and caves add to the mystery of this place, making every visit an unforgettable experience. Cala del Moraig is the perfect choice for those seeking tranquility, natural beauty, and unparalleled views that linger in memory for a long time.
Fantastic experience: What to say about this beach, in summer it must be an odyssey to park, etc..but at this time it is a delight to be around the area and do its routes, the one of the cliffs is highly recommended to know Cala Lebeig, and the Cueva de Arcs, beautiful it is worth a visit to this place.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular place, beautiful beach. Turquoise waters.
Negative experience: The sea is still spectacular, but the Dels Arcs cave no longer has 'arcs' and cannot be accessed to enjoy its uniqueness. The town hall, in addition to charging for parking, should repair the access to the cave.
Negative experience: The cove is very beautiful, but the access is horrible, not suitable for elderly people, there are rocks, but rocks, and if you go with kids be very careful, wear appropriate footwear to climb and climb on a really bad path, and bring a portable toilet haha because there are no restrooms, and here comes the worst, just for parking kilometers away they charge you €12, it's crazy, for street parking. The town hall is getting rich, because come on!!!!!!!, there is no service there I would have preferred not to go. For me, it wasn't worth it I'm sorry♀️
Fantastic experience: Amazing view
Fantastic experience: Highly recommended, but you have to walk a bit.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful cove. It's just hard to leave because the parking is about 500 meters from the cove, and going there is easy because it's downhill, but coming back....
Fantastic experience: Wow beach, quite a steep ascent 25%. Paid parking €12 per day.
Positive experience: Great cove for swimming, if the wave conditions allow it. On-site there is a gravel beach, and to enter the water, it's advisable to wear water shoes due to the gravel. The path to the beach goes down a road with a 22% slope, so it is quite steep and long. Only for people who are fit. You can park above the path, but be careful of the parking fee of €12, which must be paid via app or online. You need your license plate for this. There are cameras, and you have to pay after 20 minutes. Unfortunately, at the beach, there are neither stalls nor toilets at this time of year, which is why I find the parking fee rather expensive. In the high season, it's okay if you get something for it, but like this, I find it too expensive. The cove itself is worth seeing and offers caves that can be explored at your own risk. Deducting points for the parking fee and the lack of toilets, but otherwise top-notch.
Negative experience: A beautiful cove. But you should only go with a towel and water.
Fantastic experience: The cove is super beautiful, made of stone for sure!!! I find the mandatory payment of €12 for parking to be excessive... When it's a parking street, the signage is poor because it makes you take a detour of about 4km since going down the camping street (you'll see) takes you right to the cove. There's no shade, so don't forget your umbrella.
Positive experience: The beach is beautiful, but they charge you 12 euros for parking. I recommend visiting the viewpoint.
Positive experience: Very beautiful cove and also the cave of the arches. The water looked very clear for snorkeling. The downside is going in high season as it is crowded.
Fantastic experience: Very beautiful!
Fantastic experience: Magnificent little review With crystal clear water
Fantastic experience: We loved it, beautiful cove, however nothing to eat ☺️ we found a very nice restaurant up in the heights in a beautiful campsite with a pool and a magnificent view
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove.
Fantastic experience: Phenomenal!
Negative experience: In the past, highwaymen hid in the woods, now they set up shop in the Town Halls, in this case in Poble Nou, but they rob just the same. And no protesting because they were elected by the 'people'.
Positive experience: You need to book the visit and pay €12
Fantastic experience: The views are stunning, the water is clean and crystal clear, ideal for diving. Without a doubt, one of the best coves to enjoy nature.
Negative experience: A shame. Last year it was a 10. But this year nothing, we arrived and found out that this year you have to pay and well we said okay, let's pay.... 12 euros.... And well, since we had come there was no other choice.... But it got worse, there were no spots to reserve so we had to leave. It's a shame that they do these things after you go with the excitement of having a good day.
Negative experience: A parking fine, the GPS takes you through restricted areas and they fine you €300. A cash grab by the town hall with sensors in the middle of a natural setting. Spain is the only country in the world that charges you for entering the countryside.
Negative experience: Fail to the town hall, how is it possible that in a regulated parking area, in the city you have to change the 'ORA' every two hours and in the cove they force you to pay €12 for the whole day. For the love of God, and without a sandwich or an umbrella. Bunch of shameless people, look we are not asking for shrimp, they want us to pay for them.
Positive experience: The hiking trail is very good, perfect for going with children too. The cove is a stony beach but it is possible to stay there.
Positive experience: For some reason, the city council has set up the business of charging €8 for parking. Other than that, a very beautiful beach, with a cave and a mini trail to walk around the cliff.
Fantastic experience: Parking is a bit expensive. Although the app option tells you there are no spots, there is a machine where you can pay. An important thing is that around 5 PM there is no more sun because the wall of rocks casts a shadow. I recommend going with little weight and with a snorkel.
Fantastic experience: Beautiful cove, not very crowded. The slope to go down is not that bad. Very clear water. The cave is worth seeing at noon. I recommend bringing snorkeling goggles (there are many fish).
Negative experience: The cove is surrounded by residential streets where they charge you €12 / day to park. I went because I was already there, but I would never have gone to avoid promoting the profit-making exploitation of the natural landscapes of our country. A shame.
Positive experience: La Cala is beautiful and you have to pay for parking, regardless of how long you stay and the distance of the car to the cove. The area is very dirty, thanks to the people like us, cans, bottles, trash......
Negative experience: Very bad, you have to pay twelve euros for parking and you need to book to make sure you can park. A rip-off. The beach is nice, but like many others in this area, it's not that great, just average.
Fantastic experience: Spectacular!!! It met all the expectations of what I had read. Simply to clarify from other opinions, paying for parking or booking it in advance is not an option, it is mandatory because otherwise you cannot park, the tow truck will take your car. We booked in advance without knowing and it was a great decision, you never know if it will be full and you can't park. Also, it's not an outrageous price and it's worth it.
Fantastic experience: It is a beautiful cove. There are a couple of trails that are worth doing and a very nice cave that is very easy to access.
