Fantastic experience: The famous Hippie Cove and its famous drums. We were lucky enough to see both an authentic hippie sunbathing at sunset and the famous drums, although this time it was just one drum. And several people dancing around it. The beach is very beautiful, the sand is coarse and of good width. Set in a very nice natural environment, framed by mountains and pine forests. Protected from strong winds. There is free parking, which caught my attention, as it has occupancy indicators like in shopping centers. Now in February 2025, there are no parking problems. The parking spaces are marked. I imagine that possibly in high season it might be paid. Also worth mentioning are the piers and the famous Finger of God, for taking beautiful photos.

Positive experience: We spent two evenings at Cala Benirràs, one Sunday evening and one on a weekday, hoping to witness the famous sunset with the sun setting over the sea and to participate in the 'sun greeting' with drums, a show usually organized by the hippies. On Sunday we had to park in an area very far from the beach, where a paid bus leaves to manage the influx of tourists and avoid congestion. Unfortunately, when we arrived by bus, the sun had already set and there was no trace of the drum sounds. In the square adjacent to the beach, there was still the hippie market, with a bit of music and some people dancing. We asked for information and were told that the drum show on Sundays had been banned by the local police due to excessive tourist influx. Two evenings later we returned by car. During weekdays, the road is open and you can park in a very large area, from which you can reach the beach with a short walk. This time we managed to see a splendid sunset, with the sun plunging into the sea behind the rock called 'The Finger of God'. However, that evening there was no drum show either. We were quite disappointed, especially because we had high expectations for the famous 'sun greeting' event. Despite this, the sunset was truly spectacular, and Cala Benirràs remains a fascinating place that I recommend visiting. I hope you have better luck than we did!

Fantastic experience: It's one of my favourite sunset spots of all time! Drums are playing as the sun goes down. Hire canoes and paddle out to the large rock formation. Highly recommend if you are looking to adventure away from the party scene, but still enjoy music, great food, and beautiful vibes.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing beach! Can get crowded but you always find a nice quiet spot on the rocks next to the sandy parts. Challenging swim to the rock further out, takes about 20 min one way, but beautiful freedive opportunities on the way out

Positive experience: My experience has been a bit... We went to see the drum atmosphere that the internet said was on Sundays, and our surprise was after waiting all afternoon for the sunset that it has been prohibited to do it on Sundays, but they can do it the rest of the week, something I don't understand. So we ended up not seeing it, what a bummer... That said, the sunsets are wonderful!

Positive experience: Overall, a nice beach with a relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed it here. However, it can get crowded (especially on Sundays). We wanted to experience 'authentic' Ibiza here and went to eat at Elements. It was truly not worth it: messy, bad service, and uninterested staff, the food is not at the level of the price you pay.

Positive experience: Beautiful cove with good parking, I took away one star because the sand on the beach has stones and the water, although it is clean, is murky.

Fantastic experience: In my opinion, one of the better beaches in Ibiza, if not the best. Spacious sandy beach. Lots of parking options. The water is clear, gradually slopes down, and is beautiful for snorkeling on the left side. It's like an aquarium in terms of clarity. 3 restaurants, not the cheapest. Public toilets available. Occasionally there is a small market. Beach chairs and parasols cost around 7 euros each for a day.

Positive experience: Very busy place (we visited it on Sunday around 5:00 PM), very difficult to find parking. This is a resort town with the hippie market, otherwise not really much to experience.

Negative experience: Beach with several large free parking lots. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the first parking lot. You have many sunbeds that take over the beach, but you can also lay down your towel. Beautiful sea, 24 degrees, shallow but a lot of jellyfish.

Negative experience: The sunset at Benirras has become a place where there are more people than during the sales at El Corte Inglés. A place to watch the sunset sitting peacefully, listening to the sound of drums while the sun goes down was magical, but it has turned into a place where you get stepped on, where your belongings are trampled, where you lose your view and your sight is blocked by hundreds of legs of people hiding you from the sun's life, where all that exists is incivility and disrespect for those of us who want to enjoy its magic. The only thing people cared about was making the best video of the drummers to upload it to their social networks; no one looked at the sun, and they cared little about the sunset, with no one enjoying the moment, just recording and recording... and not letting the rest of the people enjoy something that was wonderful. I already know where not to return during my visits to the island, what a pity.

Fantastic experience: IMPORTANT!!! The drums are not on Sundays. We went on Sunday because it said so on the internet, and the waitress at the restaurant told us that they haven't played on Sundays for two years and they play from Monday to Saturday. Beautiful cove, which has sand with small stones.. There are four restaurants, to suit all tastes.

Fantastic experience: Spectacular place, up to expectations, difficult to park with a large van. Thanks to the attention of a very kind lady who made it easier for us and warned that fines would be imposed on anything that wasn't authorized, tourism, or motorcycles, we managed to enjoy a great day. Spectacular cove and authentic market with all handmade crafts. We couldn't see the sunset but I'm sure it's spectacular.

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful cove. There is free parking right next to it. The area on the right has more rocks and it's better to wear water shoes, but to the left it’s more sandy and not necessary. Ideal for snorkeling, you can see many little fish. There are places right behind to eat with several options, some only accept cash. We ate at Roca y Mar and the price is very affordable compared to others.

Parking is not very large, I think that in the summer months it is necessary to arrive in the morning. There is also a market with typical local crafts and island-style clothing.

Fantastic experience: The most beautiful cove to watch the sunset. If you don't have much time, the parking closes due to full capacity. In that case, the best option is to go by bus from the Sa Plana stop. There are hippie stalls.

We wanted to go see and listen to the drums being played, which is very characteristic of the cove, but we didn't get the chance as it currently only happens on weekdays. On the second day we went, but it was raining. Without a doubt, we will return. They have 4 restaurants available for dining there. The parking is free and there are many available spots.

Although the best day, if I'm not mistaken, is Sundays, but that day maybe too many people gather there. I went on a Wednesday and liked it so much that I went again the next day…

Positive experience: A beautiful drive that winds through hills and valleys down to the beach of Cala Benirrás. It is a lovely beach with partly pebbly sand and rocks on both sides that you can climb over. The view over the water of an interesting rock formation known as Cap Bernat (or referred to by locals as 'God's Finger') is truly picturesque. The seabed is rocky. In the summer, there is a small hippie market every day except Wednesdays and Thursdays from late morning until evening, with stalls selling fashion, accessories, handicrafts, and more. The sheltered cove is a popular anchorage for private sailing yachts and motorboats, especially in the early evening to enjoy the romantic sunsets. Please note: The famous drumming that used to take place on Sundays and attracted thousands of people no longer happens. However, smaller informal drumming sessions now occur daily at sunset.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing time at this beach at sunset. There was a band performing on drums and they were having an incredible live performance with all the people dancing. The sun hiding behind the rock from the sea and the live music created an incredible atmosphere.

Positive experience: Small and beautiful cove, like all the ones on the island. Very crowded with people and families. The parking is small but there is a shuttle bus that does NOT meet any safety measures. People are piled up in the aisle and it costs €1.90 per trip. Expensive and very bad service and comfort. It is advisable to go before they close the road. And if there is no music at the end, I won't even mention it.
